Dolenjska Wine Road comprises the wine growing areas of Gradišče and Rihpovec extending all the way to Trška gora. The trail leads from Trebnje to Gradišče, which also includes the nearby Stara gora and Debenec, and from there to Rihpovec. There the wine growing district in Trebnje Municipality is interrupted then continues across Kartaljevo to G. Kamenje to Trška gora and further to Otočec. Besides the nicely routed wine road there are two wine growing slopes in the area of Trebnje, both in the Suha krajina region. Lisec is located between Dobrnič and Žužemberk and Šmaver, which can be reached from Ponikve or Trebnje through Vrhtrebnje.
