Mirna gora is one of the highest peaks of Bela Krajina (1047 m), and one of the most south east risings of the vast Kočevski Rog. Mirna gora, and the lower situated Planina, are the starting points for numerous hiking trails.
Forest teaching trail Planina - Mirna gora:
length - 3.5 km; time required - 2.5 hours.
On the trail of the forest railway Črnomelj - Leseni kamen:
length - 4 km; time required - 1 hour.
Shepherds path: length - 10 km; time required - 4 hours. Trdinova trail.
Mirna gora is also included in the Trdinova trail, which connects Kočevski Rog and Gorjanci with the fringe of the Krško hills. From the top the trail leads to the neighbouring control point Gače
(955m) covering a distance of 4.5km and can be walked in approximately one hour and a half. The trail then goes on to Smuk
(546 m) for a distance 10.5km, and takes about 3 hours.
