In the Snow stadium below Mariborsko Pohorje excitement grabs each and every one in the crowd of some 20.000 spectators when the world’s best women skiers compete in the slalom and giant slalom races.

Mariborsko Pohorje boasts the largest number of skiers in Slovenia, the longest downhill night run in Europe and as the best ski centre in Slovenia it received the Golden snowflake award. The organisers of the Golden Fox also make a stand as having the worst thaw, and according to all the FIS international standards the organisation of the event itself is outstanding.
