When establishing the portal www.maribor-pohorje.si in 2006, the tourist destination Maribor-Pohorje recognised the key destination problems and provided solutions for them in the areas of: (1) incoherence and unrecognisability of the tourist area, (2) information problems and (3) moderate use of modern electronic marketing tools, for which they were awarded by the Sower committee. Since we have to keep in step with the times, they are preparing new innovative solutions for 2012.
