Bohinj Tourism, in cooperation with the Bohinj municipality, leads a project entitled 'Bohinj guest card'. It offers guests who stay for at least two nights in Bohinj free parking as well as other benefits in Bohinj and other places in the wider area of the Julian Alps (Bled, Kranjska Gora, Gorje, Radovljica, Begunje, Tolmin, Kobarid, Trenta), including Ljubljana.

In 2009, we included a Bohinj guest card excluding parking in our offer, which was intended to those guests who arrived in Bohinj with public transport. This card (half the price) does not include free parking, but it includes all other discounts. The purpose of this card is to promote the use of means of public transport. In line with our vision of a green tourist destination, Bohinj guest card holders are, in cooperation with the bus company Alpetour, provided with cheaper public transport on buses.
