Phone: ++386 4 592 44 00  The Church of Sv. Ana near the entrance of the Ljubelj Tunnel has a single nave and a Gothic presbytery with ribbed vaulting that developed from the original Gothic chapel. Eight of the ribs join in a rosette with an ornament resembling a swastika, and on another boss there is a small escutcheon. The large semicircular triumphal arch has a fresco from the middle of the 18th century on its western side showing Jesus on the cross with his mother Mary and the apostle John standing below him. A fresco of the Assumption of Mary adorns the vast barrel vault.
