Štruklji wljkava

Print Add to travel planner
These are baked štruklji made with unleavened dough, stuffed with slices of fried sausage or salami, olives and spices. Their name comes from the dialect word for olives– »wljke«. These štruklji were eaten in winter, mostly for the feast at pig slaughtering.
