The giant pine is a stone?s throw from the trail to Mount Suha on the right side of Pod klanec, ten minutes from the parking lot that is reached via the forest road. The turnoff to the forest road is beside the Triglav National Park sign at the beginning of Ribčev Laz. A foot trail also leads from RibčevLaz.
