Influence of Ecological Component on Demand for Wellness Services


The purpose of this survey was to find out how guests in the selected
Slovenian and Austrian hotels perceive ecological factors regarding accommodation, food, recreation, body and beauty care and mental activities, and what their attitude is to health, well-being and the environment. The survey also aimed to establish whether there is a difference in perception between guests in Slovenian and Austrian hotels. In terms of the reasons for travel, respondents in Slovenian and Austrian hotels most often indicated "rest and relaxation", "health" and "sport & recreation". Respondents in both Slovenian and Austrian hotels gave the highest importance to "peaceful location of the hotel", which was followed by "a lot of greenery in the hotel and its surroundings" and "the use of environmentally friendly cleaners and detergents".
