A car-train running between Bohinjska Bistrica and Podbrdo in Baška Grapa / Most na Soči has considerably improved transport connections between the Gorenjska and Primorska regions.

It is not difficult to choose between the option of driving on a narrow winding road across a 1300 metres-high ridge and the simple, comfortable and fast mode of travelling by train through the Bohinj tunnel (6327 m). The car-train is also suitable for mobile homes and trailers. 

At least twelve trains run in both directions every day, with an additional carriage for bicycle riders (up to 30 people).
