Address: Gramsci square 4 6000 Koper
The venetian-gothic house from the 15th centrury is a dominant on the Gramsci square, the former "Campo Sanpieri", named after the saint protector of the nearby town gate that once stood on the square. The house is characterized by the protruding upper floor resting on wooden corbels. This is a typical architectural feature of many houses found in Koper, such houses are called "Casa a gheffo". The house also has venetian-gothic windows, two of them form a bifora. After the renovation in 1983 the building houses the ethnological collection of the Regional museum of Koper.
