It is a narrow valley, 5 km long.

It is surrounded by the peaks:
- Črni Vrh,
- Kaluder,
- Lemež,
- Lipnik,
- Hudi Vrh,
- the north edge of Golobar.

The Lepenica Stream at the end of the valley springs from a waterfall.

It is a mountaineering starting point and the valley itself is ideal for shorter walks.

At the end of the valley the mountain lodge Dom dr. Klementa Juga is located, which is the starting point for the lodge Koča pri Krnskih jezerih,
and at the beginning of the valley there is Klin camp with a guest house and the apartment settlement Pristava, with sports fields, horses for horseback riding and a guest house.
