 19.3.2012 Naziv ang : Monthly press news for March 2012 Povzetek : Recently Slovenia has noted some prominent achievements. For the second time, Alan Rogers has awarded Camping Bled, this time presenting it with the Alan Rogers Innovation Award. Virgin Australia placed Slovenia 2nd among top 10 inspirational places to visit in 2012 and Conde Nast Traveller ranked the Vila Bled among the best small European hotels. A recent study among European capitals has shown that Ljubljana is placed among the top three European capitals with the highest growth rate of overnight stays of tourists in the last five years, while according to the growth of bed capacities in tourist accommodation facilities, Ljubljana take the lead. It also leads in the category of international visitors. In 2011, Slovenia recorded 9% more foreign tourists and overnight stays, spendingmore than 2 billion EUR in Slovenia first time ever.
