This Alpine glacial valley, covered with gravel in the mid-part, lies beneathe the high peaks of the Kamnik - Savinja Alps. The Bela stream springs above the Roban homestead and runs into the Savinja river. There are some farmsteads in the valley, surrounded with rich forests. The Robanov kot valley has been protected as a park since 1950.
