At the foot of Igla is an intermittent spring which flows into a small pool. Every 10 to 20 minutes the pool fills, after which the water quickly disappears and it starts to refill again. The process is continuous and the faster the flow of water, the quicker the cycle. Conversely, during periods of drought, the pool and spring may dry up completely.
