Paradana is located in the vicinity of the village of Predmeja above the Vipava Valley. It is the most popular and arranged tourist point in Trnovo Forest. After a little more than ten minutes of walking from the road one arrives at 'mrazišče' cold hollow, which is prolonged into a 385 m deep and 1550 m long world famous Great Ice Cave - Paradana or 'Ledenica'. Recently the speleologists have discovered the continuation of the cave. To the eternal ice, which was taken even to Egypt in the past century for the cooling of drinks, leads a daring yet safely arranged tourist trail. We also recommend a pocket torch.
