Trnovska planota, Otlica, 5270 Ajdovščina
On the north foot of Sinji Vrh (1032m) on the south side of the road there are beautifully developed 'škraplje'. They originated in thick strata of the lower Jurassic limestone. These 'škraplje' are such a characteristic example of karst micro relief that they are visited by numerous school and natural science excursions. They are known by almost all Slovenian naturalists. The 'škraplje' are another unusual occurrence which speaks of the variety of nature at Trnovo Plateau. We invite you to visit us and view the beauties of nature and the traces of man in it. For additional information we are available at the Ajdovščina TIC (Tourist Information Centre).
