The Kluže Fortress ranks among the most imposing fortifications in Slovenia, particularly because of its picturesque position above the deep gorge of the Koritnica River.

From June to September, the fortress is open for visitors to visit exhibitions and events.

It is developing into an important cultural, artistic, social, and entertainment center for the Bovec region.
