The ballad and romance poet’s native home is situated in a pleasant settlement of Senožete and has been run by the poet’s grandnephew for a long time now. The landlord, however, is willing to provide the image of the poet’s life with pleasure. The interior of the well preserved native home houses the black kitchen and a show-room where the poet’s literate works have been exposed to visitor’s examination. Near the house, there is also a reconstructed, straw-covered wood granary with the stone-built cellar.
