In the area between the alps of Zaprikraj and Predolina an outdoor museum is arranged.
Here we can see well-preserved, cleaned and restored positions of the Italian first line of defence – trenches, caves and fortified positions. In the vicinity there are also the remains of cabins, gun- and mortar positions and a restored memorial.
On the alp of Zaprikraj, possible purchase of traditionally produced cheese and cottage cheese in summer, and upon return to Drežnica, possible visit to a private collection of items from the First World War.
The remains of the first Italian line of defence are located on either side of the macadam track at the fork of a forest route and a track to the alp of Predolina. Visitors center the Walk of Peace offers new interactive exhibition of The Walk of Peace, which is free of charge.

Access: We start with a car in Kobarid and turn towards the village of Drežnica, from there towards Drežniške Ravne (7 km). At the crossroads before the denser settlement of Drežniške Ravne we turn right.
After about one kilometer of asphalt road, at a trough, we park our car and continue by foot at macadam road towards the alps of Zapleč and Zaprikraj ( 5km ).
We come to the border of the Triglav National Park. There is further 30 minutes of easy walk along the macadam track from the border of the Triglav National Park to the outdoor museum.
