This karst cave boasts stalactites and stalagmites in several places and has been explored to a length of 1,500 meters. The marked entrance to the cave is located above the confluence of the Tolminka and Zadlaščica rivers. The cave is only suitable for visiting with a guide and the proper caving equipment. Visit is possible only with guide.
 
The Italian poet Dante Alighieri, who visited the Patriarch of Aquileia at the castle on Kozlov rob in 1319, supposedly got his inspiration for his depiction of Hell in the Divine Comedy from this cave.
