Address: Robanov kot, 3335 Solčava

This picturesque Alpine valley is squeezed under the summits of Križevnik, Molička Peč, Veliki Vrh, Mala Ojstrica, Krofička and Strelovec. Like the neighbouring Logar Valley, Robanov Kot was also fashioned by glacial action during the last Ice Age, which left a number of traces including some vast moraine deposits. The Bela stream, a tributary of the Savinja, springs forth from the lower end of the valley's gravelly central tract, not far from the Roban farmstead. The floor of the Robanov Kot Valley, together with the slopes above, are for the most part covered by forest; and it is forestry which, together with tourism, represents the main source of local income. Some splendid hikes and strenuous climbs are possible from Robanov Kot which in 1987, due to its outstanding natural beauty, was proclaimed a regional park.
