The start is in Luče, from which you head out on the main Road towards Ljubno. Go through the hamlet of Struge, and at the other end turn left onto the paved road, which is also signposted for Koča na Loki and Snežna jama.
The first part of the road is quite steep (200m), but this is soon over and then you climb gently to the crossroads, where the paved road turns left towards the hamlet of Konjski Vrh; the road straight ahead takes you past isolated farms and across the bridge over the Dupeljnik - Brlogi stream gorge to a crossroads, where the signs point you left towards Drtičnik tourist farm (1.5km). Turn sharp right and continue along the paved road to the next crossroads, where the paving stops. The road straight ahead leads towards Koča na Loki and Snežna jama, then you turn sharp left and climb very steeply past the Zalesnik farm, birth place of the composer Blaž Arnič.
Head on to the Miklavc farm, which marks the highest point. From there you continue in a gentle descent to the Tevč farm, where the paving begins, and the road starts descending more steeply. Head past the isolated farms to the crossroads, where the road to the right goes to Zg. Zavratnik tourist farm (3km), while you go straight ahead to the bridge across the Savinja, where you join the main Luče-Solčava road and return along this to the starting point (19km).
