Franciscan library represents the biggest treasure of the Franciscan's monastery. Monastery is one of the main sights of the old town Kamnik.
A rich collection of over 10,000 volumes, ranging from incunabula to books printed before 1799. The origins of the library reach back to 1627. The books are arranged into 14 categories following a catalogue from 1760. The collection includes Dalmatin's translation of the first five books of the Bible (Pentateuch) from 1578 and a Dalmatin Bible from 1584.
