The Rotovnik farmhouse is over 250 years old and is adorned by a vine that is just eighty years younger. At this excursion farm, live accordion music frequently adds a lively spirit to the meals.

They offer excellent dried meat items, meat dishes from pork and beef, mushroom soup and buckwheat žganci (groats), various types of štruklji, dishes made from sauerkraut and fresh cabbage, potica, and wine.


Many of the guests come from riding at the Gotovlje Equestrian Club or from visiting points of interest in this part of the Savinja Valley such as the Pekel Cave where bones of a Neanderthal man were found or the Roman necropolis in nearby Šempeter.
