Photo-gallery, which is the only Slovenian gallery for photography, has its premises in the Jewish tower, the onetime defence tower of the medieval Maribor city walls.
As members of the Fotoklub Maribor we have arranged in three storeys of the tower exhibition areas with photographic documentary archives and a permanent collection. Every year we organize around ten exhibitions of home and foreign authors, and among those exhibitions is a traditional biennial "Mariborski obrazi" (Maribor faces).
