This farm, where your hosts will be the seven members of the Nemec family, lies on a hill above the village of Sedraž, surrounded by meadows and with a wonderful view of the Zasavje Hills.


If you enjoy delicious home-made food, the Nemec Farm is the right place. The spread they put on for their guests consists of one speciality after another: beef broth with home-made noodles, Štajerska-style soup, roast chicken, a variety of meat roulades, veal stew with buckwheat polenta, savoury strudels, home-made sausages, dishes filled with home-made cream and much more.

Families with children are very welcome on the farm and babysitting can be arranged if parents want to make a longer expedition into the nearby hills.
The women of the family will be happy to let you into the secrets of the local cuisine, while the farmer will accompany you to the barn, where you can try your hand at various chores. Those who enjoy social gatherings are invited to visit the farm at the time of the traditional Beer and Flowers event which takes place in nearby Laško. Hikers and hillwalkers can climb Kal, Mrzlica, Kopitnik, Kum and Šmohor. Those who enjoy swimming and bathing can visit the nearby spas in Laško and Rimske Toplice. Your hosts will be happy to accompany you on a tour of their native area.
