Located on the top of a hill at the end of the village of Škoflje, the farm, one of the most beautiful in the Vreme Valley, sits above a large collapse doline through which the Reka River runs. The marvelous view from the farm spreads over the Vreme Valley to Mount Vremščica and all the way to Mount Snežnik.
At the farm you have the chance to sample typical dishes of the Brkini region such as jota, potato štruklji, njoki, and goulash, and you can buy apples and homemade apple vinegar, apple juice, and fruit brandy to take home.

The farm door is always wide open to families with children. In fact, your hosts devote special attention to children, particularly during the summer. They organize a summer camp for children with an educational and entertaining program to introduce them to the fascinating region of the Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the distinctive aspects of life in the countryside. Evenings around the campfire are great fun, and sleeping in the hayloft or canoeing and boating on the Reka River will be unforgettable experiences for your children.
The farm also has horses for those with riding skills to take exploring the trails in Škocjan Caves Regional Park. You can also visit nearby Lipica, the original home of the Lipizzaner horse, and the villages of Lokev and Divača, birthplace of Ita Rina, Slovenia’s first world-renowned actress. Numerous karst caves also invite you to visit: Vilenica, Divaška jama, Dimnica . . . In the immediate region, the unique karst landscape is dotted with interesting towns such as Dutovlje, Komen, and Štanjel. Touring the Brkini or Senožeče valleys is interesting as are the nearby hiking areas of Vremščica, Slavnik, and the rim of the karst region.
