The unique farm of Škerlj stands on a hill with a view overlooking the Kras region and its vineyards. Its farm buildings retain elements of traditional karst architecture, and the surrounding areas are rich with culture, places to see, and things to do. Nearby is the famous Lipica Stud Farm, home of the elegant white Lipizzaner horse, and there are tennis courts and a golf course in Lipica as well. The Škocjan Caves are sixteen kilometers away, and the Postojna Cave just twice as far.

At the farm, guests enjoy Mediterranean style cooking and delicacies such as pršut (prosciutto), as well as Slovenia's renowned Teran wine. 
 
 
Guests are invited to participate in farm activities such as collecting honey from the beehives and assisting at harvest time. The Teran and Pršut Festival in August is not to be missed.
