Turn Manor House was originally built by the Višnjegorski (Weichselberg) family in 1575 on a spot where a mansion, first mentioned in 1447, was already standing prior to Turn. The two-storey building is situated independently on the western side of the wider main-square area in the centre of Radece. A bird's-eye view shows that the ground-plan of the building resembles letter ˝L˝: a 19th century side tract is perpendicular to the older main building, which stretches along the Starograjska street, just across the road from St. Peter's parish church. Building's external shape has not changed since 1860, when Mr. Gutmannsthal-Benvenutti became its owner. His neorenaissance coat-of-arms has been preserved on the edge of the façade. On the ground floor the original arches from 16th century can still be observed. That means that the core has remained elementary ever since, although an additional floor has been added and the exterior has been changed in the 19th century.
