Gorjuše, 4264 Bohinjska Bistrica
In the 18th century, Baron Žiga Zois, the owner of the ironworks in Bohinj at the time, ordered the construction of this building in Spodnje Gorjuše in order to supervise his mining and forestry operations in the Pokljuka area.
The ceramic heating stove about two hundred years old with religious symbols molded into the tiles is particularly interesting. While he was serving as priest in Koprivnik, the poet Valentin Vodnik lived in this house.
ACCESS: The house is a fifteen-minute walk from the main road, and an asphalt road also leads to it.
