Grmečica is a stream that springs below Mount Jelovica and runs into the Sava Bohinjka River near Nomenj. It has an interesting steep gorge with numerous waterfalls and is very suitable for the sport of canyoning with special equipment and guides.

ACCESS:

You can access Saint Hemma and Grmečica Waterfall through the railway underpass right behind the railway station, direction Bled. Continue on the walking road to the new bridge and turn right to get to Grmečica Waterfall, or left to get to Saint Hemma. The walk takes about 30 minutes.
