The association was founded on 15th of March, 2005 and is situated in the immediate vicinity of the Divača railway and bus station. Our main purpose is to advertise the turist capacity of our hometown and the whole region by organizing events regarding culture, entertainment, sports and much more. A turist information office is also available in our facilities, where you can learn about Divača, the Karst region, inns and pubs and overnight accomodation. Visits to several sights (the Škocjan caves, Škratelj´s house, trips to Brkini etc.) can also be arranged upon request. Divača is situated nearby the renowned Škocjan caves, Lipica and Brkini, famous for the local plum brandy and its making process. To visit these sights you can rent a bicycle at turist office. For those cyclers who not only wish to enjoy in the magnificent surroundings, but want to learn more about history and culture of this region, we can arrange a guide that will conduct you through the picturesque countryside of Divača.
