Members of the RKTŠ are mainly local people, as well as people from the neighbouring villages. Our aim is to preserve the natural and cultural heritage and to promote the cultural, tourist and sport activities of our villagers. We are fully aware that the all-around development is possible only if we offer a great support to the young and if our members cooperate with other people. Thereforewe cooperate with other similar associations from Slovenia and from abroad in order to promote the collective development of various activities. We have also a choir who perform at many events and make them more interesting. Great love for singing and friendly meetings brought them a great success. We also organize numerous concerts of home choirs and choirs from abroad, exhibitions of home artists, St. Nicholas' Eve party, walks on the surrounding historical paths and bicycling. Recently Gorjansko became the co-organizer of the prize-giving of international award Štrekljeva nagrada.
