Once upon a time, the villagers of Kregolišče quarrelled so much that they were given the name the quarrellers (Kregoliščani). An idyllic narrow path, surrounded by dry wall, leads us to the village. It consists of two slopes and magnificently preserved Karst architecture. All the houses have walled courtyards and wells. On the Kržada stands a trough that was built in the period under Italy and a pil with a statue of the Mother of God. One can enjoy a spectacular view on Dolnji Kras and 12 villages from Gorica.
Nearby there is a pond, where the rocks on which women used to do the
laundry are visible in winter.
Automobiles : In Dutovlje turn for Komen, continue straight passing Pliskovica, Veliki Dol and Tublje. Turn right before village Brje and pass Škofi.
