Krajna Vas was the last village on the estate of the Counts of Gorizia, hence its name (krajna vas = "village at the edge"). Bitnja, Baričev and Gurnji Konc are connected by slopes. The church of St Agnes has a slate roof. The date 1716 is carved into a window frame. Natural features worth mentioning are a cave called Močilova Jama in Rupe, a constant spring in Draga and the chestnut trees that may be seen around the village. A column stands in the square, along with a National Liberal Struggle memorial erected in 1947. Before the Austro-Hungarian army built the water supply system, the villagers used to go to Počka to fetch water. A unique carnival tradition survives in the village, with each house receiving a souvenir. In May there is a bonfire, and on New Year's Eve rockets are let off.
Automobiles : In Dutovlje turn towards Komen, Krajna vas is the first village on the road.
