A dispersed village on the southern slope of Vodemlja, more densely settled along the lower course of the Lepena River and along the roads to Škalske Cirkovce and Konovo/Velenje. There are practically no true farms left, and the settlement consists mainly of one-family workers’ houses. Near the castle (on Tičnica) is a large fruit orchard belonging to the Šalek valley agricultural cooperative.
