The Podljubelj Valley or  The St. Anna Vallley as the locals call it, was excavated by the Mošenik brook and its tributary and by glaciers, the traces of which can mostly be seen in the widest central part of the valley. The picturesque valley is situated between Tržič and Ljubelj therefore it is an ideal starting point for various mountain trips.
The visitors will be astonished by its natural beauty and rich history;
- the Ljubelj border crossing had been one of the easiest crossings over the Karavanke mountain range since the Roman times. This is due to the fact that 2000 metre-high mountain ridge lowers to 1300 m above the sea level;
- the former mine of quick silver where quick silver ore, cinnabar, was being dug from the 16th to the beginning of the 20th century.
- the Mauthausen memorial park, arranged on the area of a former and the only concentration camp in Slovenia during the World War II.
- the Tominčev slap waterfall, falling 18 metres deep over a stack of conglomerate into a smaller pool.
