At the crossroads of forgotten paths A well-marked path brings you to the crossroads of old paths between salt pans and hinterland, where you find the village Cetore, under which are the Parile gorge and a waterfall named after the gorge. The village will amaze you with its peacefulness, amazing view and many paths, waiting for you to explore them – on foot or on bycicle. Around Istria on a horse’s back You could even go around on a horse’s back . In the nearby Medljan there are two horse clubs, where you can borrow horses or go on a guided cross country ride in Istria. In vicinity of Cetore is Malija, a typical clustered settlement with an extraordinarily well-preserved Istrian tradition and a characteristic dialect. Beside having linguistic particularities and ethnologic heritage the inhabitants also have an excellent home cuisine and delicious refosco.
