Šentrupert, a pleasant small town in the Mirna Valley, lies in the embrace of winegrowing hills close to the road between Trebnje and Sevnica. Its greatest attraction is the Church of Sv. Rupert, the local patron saint, which is one of Slovenia’s most beautiful Gothic churches.

You are also invited to enjoy the hiking trail in the nearby vineyards and to visit Vesela gora with its Museum of Farm Tools and one of the most beautiful traditional Slovene hayracks in Bistrica.
