Čipnje is located in the Branik ravine, next to the place where river Branica comes out of the gorge and goes ahead towards Branik valley. The arheo- logist found prehistorical barrow and on the top of the hill Krištangrad the ruins of an old castle. People who did not obey their counts were closed into barrels and left down the hill and than burn at the bottom in the cave Buča peč (pumpkin oven). Next to the cave, at the beginning of the village, there is Zavivnca where local people settled a place for fun and recreation (swimming, climbing, walking trips, picnic place…)
