Timber rafting on Slovenia's rivers represents the revival of a centuries-old, long-abandoned means of transport. Today's raftsmen no longer transport goods but instead large groups of people. Relax in the company of friends and family, take refreshments and enjoy views of the countryside on a raft on the river Drava (particularly in Koroška between Dravograd and Radlje ob Dravi). Timber raft trips are also available on the Sava in Radeče and on the Krka in Novo Mesto.
