Information : The run will start from the Rocen Sports Park at the foot of Mt. Šmarna gora

The Mt. Šmarna gora run, which has in the recent years become an internationally recognised sporting event, consists of a competition for the Slovenian Mountain Running Cup and an international running competition.

In 2001 it was granted the IAAF Permit as a competition under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
