After the wide-open gravel-beds, the Soča river again shows its wild side. Where the houses are already flirting with coastal styles of architecture, the river tumbles into the Srpenica Gorge. The boldest of visitors can taste the challenge of its devilish water rodeo. A little further down is the Trnovo Gorge, which is so wild and boulder-strewn under its 60-metre walls that only the top kayakers can master it. The best in the world have come here to test their skills in competitions. Nearby is the gorge of the Sušec Stream, which is a perfect spot for some adrenaline-rush canyoning.
The village is located by the Soča river, just 11 km from Bovec.
