This village once bore a name of Malo Brdo. At “Urbančevi” house you can admire a stone bracket, which supports the gank. The entrance into the 70 metres long Karst cave is right from the cellar of Mr. Janez Čač’s house. The local people are still breeding and grazing cattle (cows, bulls and horses). In the village surroundings are many vineyards and meadows, which are surrounded with walls and škarpe. Paths lead you through a common where grow only sumach/ruj and juniper trees. You can admire vrtače, oak trees and well-conserved herdsman’s cottages and also see
the remaining of unfinished railway line.
Automobiles : On the road Dutovlje-Sežana turn left at the bus station in Križ (shortcut to Štorje). On the road Sežana-Senožeče turn left at the crossroad.
