The first owners of that area were the monks of Žiče Carthusian Monastery who had ponds in the valleys of Dramlje, however, in the 14th century the counts of Celje governed the area.
The place is an interesting excursion post due to the unspoiled nature and mainly due to the wine growing slopes.
The pilgrimage Church of St. Ursula is worth visiting and besides, it is also a mountain post. However, you can go on an organised walk with the local mountaineering association on the second Sunday in February and on the Day of Independence on 25th June along a part of Slomšek's path.
