Bratonci has been famous from old for its cider. Among the sights of Bratonci is the Pil with the Croatian Christ dating back to 1724. This is a sculpture of Christ sitting on a stone pillar, which has been sometimes called by the locals the Thought of God. In the Bratonci graveyard there is a monument to the publicist and collector of documents of folk culture Štefan Kuhar, which was sculptured in 1932 by the famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik. In the centre of the village there is a chapel dating from 1898, dedicated to Our Lady the Helper.
