This small village is situated on the South slope of hill, Tabor where stands the church of St. Catherine with medieval elements. The stone cross from 1676 that stands on the crossroad belongs among the remains of our cultural heritage. South-East of Bogo is a ravine with the brook Vilenica where two horizontal Karst caves were discovered. The village is surrounded with beech and oak woods which are, especially in autumn, a popular destination for gatherers of mushrooms. Here also grow chestnut trees. Local people gather juniper and make gin. A part of the village was burnt down by Germans.
Automobiles : On the road Sežana-Senožeče turn left at the end of village Štorje and drive to Kazlje. There turn right, drive through Štjak towards Gradišče and then the road branches off at right for Bogo.
