The path, connecting Cankova-Korovci-Fuks graba, starts at the Villa VOGLER in the very centre of Cankova. It continues on the Austrian side along the border stream of the Kučnica, where on one side we are accompanied by wide meadows and fields and on the other, high trees and a stream. The trees offer us pleasant shade on hot days. After our arrival in Korovci we can walk to the forest teaching path Fuks graba, and if we decide to take a walk along the path, get to know the forest structure and its inhabitants. The forest on Korovska gora, covering a small round area, is home to numerous animal species and vegetation. The path is accompanied by a brook which winds its way through the forest with numerous meanders, and a kind guide, the fox, reveals its home. In the forest’s cool embrace you can enjoy a relaxing walk along a diverse forest path. After the ascent we can walk to the nearby Tourist farm (Izletniška kmetija) Kozelinovi, where we will be served home made farm delicacies.
After the tour of Fuks graba we go back towards Cankova, where the path leads us past the famous Bransberger homestead, a beautifully preserved farm house with an exhibition of old farm tools. At the end of our adventure we can rest and enjoy refreshments at the restaurant, Gostilna Ajda, where they boast pizza made of buckwheat flour for which they received an international award.
