Our walk starts at the information board which marks the Forest teaching path 'Uršankovo'. Along the forest path which leads across slightly steeper terrain for approximately 300 m, we ascend past the cliff, Mucova pečina, to the macadam road. We continue along the road past the Uršank homestead where the forest roads starts. Along the path there are information boards which draw to our attention the different kinds of trees and other treasures of the Pohorje forest. We can continue along the Uršankovo forest teaching trail which represents a shorter version of the Nordic path, or we can continue along the forest road – taking the longer version of the Nordic path.
If we continue along the longer version, along the forest road, we cross smaller brooks at which we can refresh ourselves, and at the edge of the forest there is a variety of vegetation and numerous fruits of the forest grow here (blueberries, forest strawberries). From the wooden bridge which crosses the brook, Piskerski potok, we can see a small waterfall and water pools. We continue our way below the Plazovnik homestead and arrive at a meadow near the Marolt homestead. The path leads across the meadow from where there is a wonderful view of Kozjak and the Drava Valley with the settlements Selnica ob Dravi and Fala. The forest road starts descending into the valley. After a few hundred metres we turn right onto the forest path which winds above the Lobnica stream and brings us to the old Marolt mill. At the mill we cross the stream and continue along the local asphalt road beside the Lobnica stream to the settlement of Sp. Glažuta. We turn right across the bridge and along the macadam road. There is a well maintained spring with cold Pohorje water where we can quench our thirst.
